Areas of Practice: Tax Law, Business Services Estate Planning

Christopher Young is an Associate at JDKatz and is currently admitted to practice in Virginia and Maryland. Mr. Young focuses his practice on, among other areas, tax controversies, estate planning and administration, and issues related to corporate disputes. In addition, Mr. Young assists both individual and business clients in resolving tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and with state taxing authorities.

Mr. Young attended the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in May 2012 and served as a member of the Catholic University Law Review. In addition, while in law school, Mr. Young worked as a law clerk with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division where he was awarded a Special Commendation for his contributions in Fidelity International v. United States and Fidelity High Tech v. United States

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Young was a State Tax Law Editor at Bloomberg BNA. Mr. Young received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Virginia Tech in May 2005.
